Operation theory
The electrodes of armored thermocouple are made of two different materials. the temperature difference between measuring end and reference end results in pyroelectric potential ,then the meter indicates the corresponding temperature to the pyroelectic potential.

Insulation resistance at normal temperature
The insulation resistance between electrode and protection tube of armored thermocouple is no less than 1000M Ω.m under condition that environment temperature is 20±15℃,relative humidity is no more than80%,and testing voltage is D.C.500±50V.
The insulation resistance of 1M long tested sample is 1000MΩ ,and that of 10M long tested sample is 100MΩ;
